We’re Jim and Julie Slack, the proud owners of J&J Liquidation, a family-owned business built on hard work, resilience, and strong community roots.
Our journey began over five years ago with a shop on Van Dyke in Almont, Michigan. After a devastating fire, we made the decision to rebuild — not just our business, but our dream — in the heart of downtown Imlay City. It was one of the hardest times of our lives, but the support from this amazing community made it possible for us to start again, stronger than ever.
We’re more than just a store — we’re a part of this community. I, Jim, proudly serve on the Board of the Eastern Michigan State Fair, and my wife Julie is deeply involved with FFA (Future Farmers of America) alongside our children, who were born and raised right here in Imlay City. Supporting local youth and agricultural programs is close to our hearts, and giving back to the community is part of our everyday mission.
